It comes with a quick release shoe adapter on the top that helps to tight the camera. The cage does not block or cover any important sections of the camera such as buttons, card slots, and battery cabin. With the cage, you also can easy to control the camera.

There are 1/4" -20 and 3/8"-16 mounting points available on the whole cage. It allows you to extend other external devices and set up some DIY configuration. A shoe mount based on the top bar of the cage can be used to catch accessories like LED light, flash light, camera monitor, etc.
