The Light Stand Head Mount is used to support an accessory situating onto a light stand,  the light stand head can be directly inserted into a column with a diameter of less than 16mm, and fastened tight by the knob. The combined 3/8"-16 female thread is available for attaching accessories coming with a 3/8"-16 threaded screw.  

This combination piece is well made of high-quality aluminum alloy, it’s very easy to set up and solid to use.
